International scholarship in Stuttgart, Germany is ending…

My scholarship at Universität Stuttgart is comming to end. Therefor I would like to write some summary…
I had really great time in Germany. During six months I met many people from all over the world… Also it was good opportunity to improve my English and German. I had lectures in both languages. When it comes to studying my knowledge regarding computer science and especially networking improved a lot. Universität Stuttgart is one of the best academy in Europe. Standards of studying are very high.
I mentioned about knowledge. All my lectures were very good. So it is not possible to write which one was the best. Style of studying is very good for me. More than facts, understanding is the most important thing. This is true also for exams, which check if you know what are you writing/saying.
On Communications Networks I learned some new things regarding networking in general. I had also similar subject but in German - Rechnernetze I. Second important and also completely new topic for me was cellular networks - GSM, UMTS, LTE. It was taught on Mobile Communications II. From side of software in networking I attended on lectures like IP Based Networks and Applications and also Telecommunication Software Engineering. In today communications systems databases are very important so I chose Database and Information Systems. I should also take something from hardware side so I studied also Embedded Systems Engineering. From humanistic subject I chose Innovation and Technology Management which showed me how management in companies should look like. AS you can see many subject, many hours of lectures and exercises during the week and many exams - too many! But it was worth it. Definitively I learned a great deal here…
Not only studying was important for me so I attended many party to have a good time with people and I was sightseeing. Everything you can find in my gallery. Enjoy over 3k of pictures;)
Whole my stay run pretty smooth. Had some 2 bigger problems but life without problems would be very boring;)
Now I have to prepare for coming back. About 11 hours of driving, 1k kilometers and I’m at home;) But first I must deal with german bureaucracy…

Witam na mojej nowej stronie. Z biegiem czasu postaram się umieścić tutaj trochę użytecznych informacji dotyczących różnych aspektów informatyki. Z racji mojego zainteresowania sieciami komputerowymi większość z nich będzie z tego zakresu. Myśle, że prywatne sprawy też znajdą tutaj od czasu do czasu miejsce.
